This is new for the 2012 contest. The idea is x number of surfers will go out for 1 – 30 minute, no holds barred, slash fest to claim the right to be know for the best trick! *30 MINUTE HEAT. Mike Vavak from Body Glove came to contest organizers with this free form best trick event and we were stoked about the idea. The number of heat entries for this special even are yet to be decided but we know that you must be present the morning of the event to enter on the beach. We will have more info posted when the waiting period comes closer.

• Normal Contest Rules Don’t Apply!
• OPEN to All Age Divisions.
• Eligibility Requires You Are Entered in At Least One Division.
• Only Beach Entries on the Day Of The Event Are Accepted… Space is Very Limited!
• You Must Throw Up a Claim to Be Judged on Your Trick!
• Contestants Will Be Judged on One Trick Only During the Heat.
• There Will Be No Interference Calls, Be Kind to Your Bretheren.
